They're OBVIOUSLY comparing Resistance to Halo 2, because Halo 3 isn't even finished.
That comparison is itself making me question the sanity of the writer.

Gears of War is an Xbox360 Exclusive. NOT timed exclusive, but EXCLUSIVE in every way.
Be happy with Resistance.

The game has always interested me, but I must admit im rather surprised at such a high score simply because, from reading/watching previews and reviews of this, it was nothing tagged as special. And yet, it does seem like Duke Nukem game (as someone here said), the graphics are nothing to blow you away, nor is the actual gameplay or even plot - so for it to get 9.1 must mean there are some hidden assets we haven't been shown before.
But regardless, its something to be proud of ...
